Tour Project Management Tool

For the tour industry, a trip planning (project management tool) was created to begin to migrate away from the exiting paper based methods for storing the information needed for companies to organize their future trip planning and preparation. The software utilized Microsoft Excel for storing all the trip plans in a single portable file. A full featured Visual Basic front end (UI) provided the user interface of a desktop application. The tool allowed the office users to always have the latest information automatically populate into every display and generative document (i.e. trip itinerary, summaries, vendor lists, venue descriptions, et. al.).
